Stunning views and warm vibes at Strathgordon 🌄
Lekker views from the restaurant and that fireplace was just right for a cozy dinner. Staff were super friendly and the food was top-notch, especially loved the calamari!
The room felt a bit dated, like going back in time, and not in a good way, you know?

the views from the lake view room were amazin, seriously breathtaking. the restaurant staff were super friendly and attentive, made our meals way better. comfy beds and clean rooms were also a plus. it was great to have the fridge and tea/coffee stuff in the room. plus, the nature around the lodge is just beautiful!
check-in was kinda annoying with no designated parking area and the decor felt outdated like it’s stuck in the past. also, the shower heater was weird, only ran hot for a short time.

The truth, what’s good and what’s not
The restaurant boasts stunning views over the lake! Plus, the trout dish was one of the finest I’ve ever tasted.
Check-in was quite frustrating with no designated parking area. The decor felt outdated and the room was a bit musty.

missingWrote a review on 29 Octdated decor
Check-in was a bit cumbersome without a designated area for parking, forcing a trek from the car to reception. The furniture and decor felt outdated, reminiscent of a 1970s military barracks, with old cupboards and musty smells. Room doors slammed noisily, making for a less enjoyable night’s sleep. Not having a basic selection of kitchenware limited the convenience of dining options in the non-self-catering room.

Couple's cozy wilderness getaway
We stumbled upon some amazing walks that felt like they were all ours! Seriously, we checked out this walk up to the Twelve Trees range, amazing!
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but for the experience in nature, it was still acceptable.
